RE/MAX sees hope for the Canadian Housing Market

A look at other countries with similar economies to Canada lends optimism to the expectation that the Canadian housing market will rebound from the effects of the pandemic.

A study conducted on behalf of RE/MAX reveals that 56% of Canadians, hoping to be active in the real estate market, plan to act within less than one year.

While there has been a decline in the number of housing transactions, there has been resiliency, particularly with regard to pricing.  It appears possible that housing demands could improve faster than originally thought.

It is believed that the Canadian housing market should be relatively sustainable and healthy by the end of 2020.
