Live Your Best Life

Imagine stepping into your peaceful backyard on a crisp Autumn day.  You know, with absolute certainty, that you made the right decision to move your family here.

Living in the healthiest neighbourhoods, attending the best schools and having a healthy home… what could be more important for the well-being of your family than that?

I think having the best doctors and the types of people that are going to take the most care, that are most concerned with safety—that are both sensible and responsible—are crucial for the health of a community and in the Oakville and Burlington areas you’ll find all the above. That’s one of the things that defines this community: people here are keen to support a healthy and safe environment for everyone who lives here.

You Can Find Your Dreams By Moving West

Housing is important to our economy. As Canadians, we know and understand this.

The demand for living in the suburbs has surpassed that of living in the city centre.

And so, you have a lot of people who are now moving west.

This year has certainly been a challenging one. But not all of it’s bad. In fact, there are going to be a lot of people moving over the coming months. Economists are saying there are going to be a lot of homes coming on the market, projecting about a 5-7% increase.  While I don’t necessarily see that being quite the demand in Oakville and Burlington areas, I do expect that there’s still going to be a significant increase, none-the-less.

Specifically, I believe there’s going to be a demand for somewhere you can walk outside. A back yard. Land.

I see it as a time when we are in need of returning to basic human principles and the market is going to show that. The desire for town homes and the demand for semi-detached and detached homes is increasing (more and more?)

As Dr. Frank Luntz pointed out, we need to start bridging the gap to get people talking together again. We need to develop a sense of confidence as Canadians, to support each other as Canadians—not necessarily the same way it is south of the border.

In fact, it would be argued that Canadian politics and real estate have never been stronger.

We’re going through a lot, collectively and individually and this brings me back to my earlier point—perhaps the biggest reason people are moving from east to west — we need to make the health and safety of our families our number one priority.

Living in Oakville and Burlington is the safest, healthiest environment for your family.

Having grown up in Oakville and now living in Burlington, I can speak from my own experience of the area and the people here. We are incredibly fortunate for the healthy, natural environment here—beautiful lakefronts, harbours and an abundance of parks and trails. This is a very family friendly community with the best schools, community and cultural centres with quaint and thriving downtown cores - all found close to Toronto while maintaining their own character and charm.

I think right now there’s such a huge demand for—like I said from the beginning—living in a town home, or a detached home. There’s a desire for moving from Toronto, where you might have been in a condo, to where you want to put your feet on the grass and breathe the fresh air.

The number of condos that have come on the market in Toronto for rent and for sale is quite high because they’re not being filled with Airbnb or with people coming from out of town for work.

So, I think that we’re in a time right now where people don’t have to go into work as much. It even could be that your work now allows you the freedom to work from home.

You can get more value and more space while fulfilling your dreams by moving west.
